The Whaler on Kaanapali Beach
The Whaler on Kaanapali Beach is a 3-star hotel with a prime location on what is considered to be Maui's best beach, Kaanapali Beach. High-end amenities, relaxing ambience and gracious customer service are just a few reasons why this property welcomes back so many return guests. Two championship golf courses are nearby, along with Whaler's Village, a shopping center with a wide variety of stores and restaurants to choose from.
Property amenities include a sauna, fitness equipment, a large swimming pool with sun terraces and ocean facing spa tub, complimentary wireless internet access in the lobby, pool area and courtyard, security, laundry facilities, activities desk and much more. Two barbeque areas are available for guest use, one located on a beautiful ocean front lawn with picnic tables.
The air conditioned condominium suites at the Whaler on Kaanapali Beach are designed for 2 to 6 guests and are very spacious with a large furnished lanai. Rooms have ocean, partial ocean or garden views and are decorated in a casual island style. Room types include Studios with one King, Queen or pull down bed; One Bedroom/One Bath one King or Queen plus a sofa bed; and Two Bedroom/Two Bath one King, one Queen and one Murphy bed or two Twin Beds.
Room amenities include cable TV with DVD and VCR, complimentary toiletries, hair dryer, high speed internet access (fee), complimentary weekday newspaper, free local calls, wakeup calls, in-room safe that can accommodate a laptop (fee), clock radio, welcome amenities, voice mail and a full kitchen that includes a dishwasher.
Note: As part of ongoing improvements, The Whaler will close the beachfront pool beginning September 2 through November 24, 2008. During this time guests of the Whaler are welcome to use the beachfront pool and food and beverage facilities at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel, right next door. Pools towels will be available for beach and pool use and all beach activities, including cabana and umbrella rentals will be available.
