
The Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel is a 4.5-star property located on 32 beautiful ocean front acres on one of the most stunning beaches on the Big Island, rated "Number One Beach in America" by Conde Nast Traveler. All guests are greeted warmly by the staff and receive a cool Oshibori (face towel) and a glace of passion orange juice upon arrival.
The stretch of white sand beach fronting the hotel features a small cove with sheltered waters, offering a great place to spot giant sea turtles and exotic sea life while swimming or snorkeling. You can also take a dip in one of the hotel's swimming pools are unwind in the Jacuzzi. If you enjoy golfing, an Arnold Palmer/Ed Seay designed 18-hole championship golf course is available.

There are 350 spacious and beautifully decorated guest rooms at the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel, 36 of which are oceanfront suites. Rooms have large furnished lanais with ocean facing views and spacious bathrooms featuring a double vanity, a full size tub and a separate shower stall. Bedding choices for standard guestrooms are two Queen beds or one King bed.

The Hapuna Beach Prince has six restaurants and lounges to choose from. The hotel's signature restaurant, the Coast Grille & Oyster Bar, features the freshest Pacific Rim cuisine with indoor/outdoor seating. Hakone Steakhouse - Sushi Bar is an award-winning restaurant that offers sizzling steaks, chops, fresh island fish, lobster, chicken and sushi.

Ocean Terrace overlooks Hapuna Beach and is a casual open-air restaurant that serves breakfast. On Thursdays only, you can enjoy the brand new Let's Go Crabbing all-you-can-eat buffet that features every type of crab you can imagine, from Soft Shell and Alaskan Snow Crabs to Dungeness Crabs, along with other seafood delicacies, including saké steamed manila clams. Meat eaters can get juicy pieces of roast beef and turkey cut for them at carving stations.
Arnie's Club House has a casual atmosphere and an inviting menu that features healthy selections, including what some would call the best hamburgers on the island. The Beach Bar offers lunch and snacks with sandwiches, salads, fresh fish and a full bar. During the summer months, you can enjoy free "Dive-In" Movies on Saturday nights. The open air Reef Lounge is located just below the lobby and offers spectacular ocean views of the Kohala coastline.
Note: On May 1, 2008, the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel will begin repair on cosmetic damage caused
by the 2006 earthquake. There is no structural damage. The areas affected are the main lobby, 7th floor
Reef Lounge and the 5th Floor Ocean Terrace. Breakfast will be relocated to the Coast Grille which will
continue to serve dinner. There are various compensations being planned for guests during this time,
including, upon departure, a complimentary one (1) night room certificate for any future stay and a $35
daily resort credit per room. August 31, 2008 is the expected date of completion.
